We invite Year 11 - 13 students to connect with our community of innovators at our Engineering Futures events.
Engineering Futures Evenings Online is an inspiring and informative showcase of what it’s like to be one of our students. You will learn more about our Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) degree, the incredible career prospects and our unique student life from current students, academic staff members and student support teams.
All sessions will be hosted online and ZOOM Links provided upon registration.
Session One: Engineering: Her Student Experience

Session Two: How Engineering re-writes the rules of tomorrow
This session will be an introduction to Engineering followed by a deep dive into our Part 1 courses so you can see what will be taught as you begin your journey with us. We will also be joined by our recent graduates from a range of industries to show you what an Engineering career can look like. Topics covered:
· What is Engineering and our BE(hons) programme
· The future of Engineering and panel discussions on careers with our graduates
· Entry requirements, required subjects and scholarships

Session Three: A student life like no other
Have you wondered what it is like to study in our faculty, the support available, our culture or even student clubs? If those questions are on your mind then definitely don't miss this session! Topics covered:
· Student life, study support and living on campus
· Engineering student clubs
· Virtual faculty tour

Session Four: Engineering for parents, whānau & teachers
Our student academic services team and academic staff will tell you everything you need to know about helping students prepare for life as a University student. Topics covered:
· How the faculty support and develop our students throughout their four years with us
· Discussions on how you can prepare your school leavers for success
· Live Q&A with faculty staff
