Auckland Pride Month

UoA is made up of many communities. These spotlight events are about connection, celebration and making the campus welcoming for everyone.

Big Gay Out  | Sunday 15 February, 12pm-7pm

A big community day with music, stalls and good vibes. Swing by the UoA stall at Coyle Park for merch and info on rainbow support and inclusive spaces on campus. No registration needed, just turn up. Learn more about the Big Gay Out.

Auckland Rainbow Parade | Saturday 21 February, 7pm

Walk with our staff and students to demonstrate your support for rainbow communities and their allies. A time to celebrate diversity, unity, respect and inclusion. Register to join the Auckland Rainbow Parade with UoA!

Aotearoa Bike Challenge | 1 - 28 February

Be part of the first wave of UoA student riders in the official challenge organised by Love to Ride. Log your rides, climb the leaderboard and compete for prizes while cutting your carbon. Be aware of recruitment on campus

If someone approaches you and it feels pushy or uncomfortable, you’re not overreacting. Trust your instincts, step away and keep your boundaries. A simple “no thanks” is enough. Recognise the signs and get support.
