Making a difference:
Harnessing the power of assessment and
self-regulated learning

Date: Thursday 22 April
Time: 5-6pm
Location: Online (Zoom)

In July 2021, the University of Auckland’s School of Learning, Development and Professional Practice is launching a Doctor of Education cohort focusing on two of the ‘hot topics’ currently front of mind in the education sector: Assessment in its many guises and forms and the concept of self-regulated learning.

Designed for educators and professionals in the education sector, The Doctor of Education will help take your skillset and career to the next level and have you thinking critically about theories of assessment and self-regulated learning.

You’ll collaborate with top experts, be supported by a cohort-based learning community, and will have the opportunity to carry out an individualised research project.
